working on my ancillary task

Today I have begin doing some work on photoshop  this work is for my ancillary task I have edited one of pictures that I have taken of Charlie then took out the background. I will use this edit phot for my DVD cover

prep for ancillary task

On Monday G.O.O.D went up the the studio to take some photos for are ancillary task we took pictures other are main character David and we applied make up to him to make him look like he was a fighter we took photos of him on a black screen to give it the dark effect that we have tried to keep throughout the trailer. We than took photos of Charlie we applied make up to his face to make him look he had just been in a fight we took the photos on a green screen. My job was to hold the light up on the table so it did not fall i also took some photos while the make was being applied

Yesterday  we went to an abandon warehouse that is by a friend’s house  we do a lot of fight scenes you can see below some pictures and videos that we did yesterday we will have to go back as it its winter it gets dark very early and there was so no light apart from natural light. The reason why we used the abandon warehouse was because we thought it add to the griteness of the film. we also like the area because of the darknees and we thought this made the filming more iconography of the film. the one problem with this is that the it got dark very early and did not get the amount of filming we wanted to do. Filming at the weekend

G.O.O.D are going up London to film some scenes we are going to some ironic places in London like the London eye and the tower of London in my next blog I will hopefully put some clips of what we did on the day

We have looked at the action film genre but we wanted to look deeper in genre as we are makeing a gtity british action film so we also looked at films that fited into that genre  like Tinker Tailor Soldier Spy, 44 Inch Chest, Harry Brown, This Is England

Resarch into the genre

I know this is not the order i in production but i will be doing some resarch into the gerne of film we picked as you know we picked a film that would fit into the action film genre so we looked at past action films like Transporter 3, Rambo, expenables, at the bottom of the blog there will be links to youtube of the film trailers that we watched to get ideas for the film.
